E-book releasing 28th March

Scarlett’s on top of the world. She has her brownstone, her agency, and her boyfriend Jack, who never forgets to bring her bagels. In the city that never sleeps, she finally feels at peace. That is, until Jack’s ex-girlfriend waltzes into her office—trailing a mini-me version of him with eyes that scream, “DNA test, please!”

She never wanted to be a mom, never mind stepmom to an irritable four-year-old with a penchant for biting, and the stress of trying to play happy families while building her company is about to push her over the edge.

Now Scarlett must decide whether to stick with her old life or stick with her man.

the love development nicki bell

Two real estate agents. One deal. Manhattan isn't big enough for the both of them.

Scarlett is working her curvy derriere off to be one of Manhattan’s top-selling real estate agents, and she’s about to land a huge client that could make her managing partner of the agency—and generate enough commission to buy the brownstone her foster parents told her she’d never have.

Except the developer didn’t mention he wanted two agents, and the second choice is Jack Shane—infuriating, smug, gorgeous… and working for a rival agency that’s trying to poach her clients. With millions up for grabs, Scarlett will need to do whatever it takes to secure them for herself, because sacrificing her career for witty repartee and smoldering looks hotter than Death Valley in July is not an option. But as the closing date approaches, Scarlett must ask herself what’s more important: love or the listing?

Larissa

I’m THE up-and-coming director in LA. But the studio won’t give me the script that could make my career.
All because I don’t have a family? I’d worked my ass off, so I didn’t have to rely on a needy husband and an even needier kid to fulfill me.
Until I get stuck in a tiny lift with the most irritating and attractive man I’ve ever met, who can’t shut up about his perfect daughter.
Maybe a family wouldn’t be so bad after all.
Is it possible that marrying a perfect stranger could land me the perfect film?

Kyle

I’ve been a realtor for two months and still haven’t sold anything. My boss told me if I didn’t sell a house to Larissa Stone then I could consider myself fired.
I had a daughter with a Barbie obsession, and I liked to eat food occasionally. So when she offers to buy the house if I’ll marry her I don’t think twice.
After all, it’s a business arrangement.
She doesn’t want a family. Even if she does fit perfectly into mine.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

910A4492.JPG

Nicki Bell is a Scottish author – obviously, because her name is on this book, and she wrote the words. That’s what an author is, right? She’s best known for writing and starring in comedy sketches featured on BBC’s The Social, BBC3 and BBC Scotland, alongside her own social-media videos, which have amassed over 20 million views.

She lives just outside Glasgow with her husband, two kids, and an ever-growing pile of ironing. When she's not drinking endless Irn-Bru and binge-watching Married At First Sight, she's busy working on two upcoming books: the third and final installment of the On the Market series and her debut psychological thriller.
